It occurred abruptly: The useless started to rise and Japan was thrown into whole chaos. As these monsters start terrorizing a highschool, Takashi Kimuro is pressured to kill his greatest buddy when he will get bitten and joins the ranks of the strolling useless. Vowing to guard Rei Miyamoto, the girlfriend of the man he simply executed, they narrowly escape their dying lure of a college, solely to be greeted with a society that has already fallen.
Quickly, Takashi and Rei band along with different college students on a journey to search out their relations and uncover what brought on this overwhelming pandemic. Becoming a member of them is Saeko Busujima, the lovely president of the Kendo Membership; Kouta Hirano, an otaku with a fetish for firearms; Saya Takagi, the daughter of an influential politician; and Shizuka Marikawa, their sizzling faculty nurse. However will the mixed energy of these people be sufficient to beat this undead apocalypse?
